Far too late Victim, this stuff already occurs in Japan, ssawa SBS doco on it a year ago, so this was literally the first google answer I found to "Japanese doll lovers". Frightening stuff.....

The guy in the doco literally took his lifesize (and I'd hate to ask what 'functionality' they possesed) dolls for walks daily, took photos of them posing in cityscapes, had entire wardrobes for each one, etc.... Obviously not a real human to be seen anywhere in his life....

Uh yeah, but those are science fiction... this article covers the present day implementation of software to remove human control of military machines. ie no longer is a human 10 km away pulling the trigger, the robot itself is now pulling the trigger!

You miss my point, in that this brillient man already had formulated the problems and risks, which is what the books are about in the 1940's!
