I'm looking for inspiration for custom mission storylines - any budding writers out there please step forward! Here is a list of "standard" co-op mission types that I can think of:
Capture and hold
Destroy fixed enemy group
Destroy enemy convoy
Defend / Hold position
Stealth vs Guns Blazing
Any other suggestions?
Kidnap - You can do what you like to the rest of the enemy but you have to make sure you get the target out alive.
Theft - Specific item needs to be acquired and returned to the rendevous/base
For inspiration think of Splinter Cell but in a group. Here's a few ideas of things people might have to do as a team
Sneak into a fancy estate or military complex in the middle of the night
One person cuts power to an electric fence so others can go through it. Take out or distract guards/dogs silently and hide bodies where necessary
Cut the alarm system so the others can enter the premises
Use rapelling hooks to get to a top floor location.
Bag the item or kidnap victim
Exit back to rendevous

One of the toughest missions we played was the "Destroy the tank convoy before it reaches the checkpoint". Along the same lines:
Fight your way to a fort and use their fixed weapons to sink an enemy beach landing before they can unload.
Sneak into a helipad and steal a helicopter (the only chopper in the game) to reach an isolated fort
Get the AI fighting each other by drawing two AI enemies into range of each other. Use the distraction to enter the now unoccupied post to complete the objective.

As in a bunch of unwashed criminals going on a suicide mission with no hope of making it out alive?
