Change in gaming time

Guys, I would like to propose a change of the Wednesday night game to Tuesday night. This will ensure that Silky and I will be able to continue gaming with the clan.

If anyone has any alternative suggestions/nights, please post them here. :22:

I admit it sounds a little bunched up, but Silky and I would struggle to be able to play otherwise. When does AEF hold its gaming nights? Is there a different day of the week to do the joint op?

Bunched up is not that popular with me, I prefer say mon/thur or tue/fri... maybe we should have a weekend slot ? or even have an "availablity" calendar and run it on the nights when there are the most people available ?

I'd be good for Tuesday nights, but not Fri. If Fri is the joint ops night, I'm happy to play once a week only.

Thursday Silky has other commitments already or I would have gone with it. :(

Tuesdays and Thursday suck for me (since I'm up at 5:15am doing weights training every Mon, Wed and Fri), so no, we won't be doing that. I think we'll need to compromise on something like Monday and Thursday, with Thursday being an early start (ie 8:15 or 8:30pm kickoff). We can talk more tonight.

Edit: I can make Thursdays. Silky can't make every week, but has said she will play at least a couple of times a month still.

Good timing with this thread. Mondays are proving very difficult for me these days (I now have a 5pm meeting that seems to regularly go waaay overtime), but I can probably do Tuesdays instead.

I don't mind the back-to-back thing, either, as Edwina's sleeping off her Tuesday night-shift by Wednesday night. (Yaaay! Gaming time!) :68:

I have no objection to moving the Monday session to Tuesday. Would vastly prefer the Thussday night session to stay on that night, though.

Just so you know, I no longer have Wednesday nights available as I have a weekly commitment on that night now. Sorry.

For what it's worth, my preference would be to stick with the Monday-Thursday thing, as doing ArmA two nights in a row each week will wear thin with She Who Must Be Obeyed pretty quickly.

On a related note, you may have noticed that I am having difficulty getting on the server by 8:30pm. 9pm is more realistic for me. :(

I have two kids I help feed, bathe and put to bed, and then I need to spend some time with the wife or I'll quickly find tolerance from my hobbies diminishing.

Must admit that Thursdays are definitely the one night I lock in, ZSU games are definitely the good ones! The Joint Ops on Mondays haven't been anything like as fun or satisfying.
